Basic Requirements for Nigerian Navy DSSC Course 29 Recruitment

  • The applicant must be a naturalized Nigerian citizen.
  • Applicants are warned not to provide misleading information or to tender fraudulent certifications. Any incorrect information or phony certifications detected at any point will result in the applicant’s disqualification and eventual prosecution.
  • Applicants must have at least a Second Class Upper Division for First Degree holders and Upper Credit for HND holders. Computer knowledge will be advantageous in all fields.
  • Applicants must be fully registered with their respective statutory professional bodies in Nigeria.
  • Applicants who earned credentials from foreign institutions must guarantee that the certificates have been validated by the Federal Ministry of Education, and copies of all certificates must be provided at designated aptitude testing facilities.
  • All applicants must produce their O’level West African Examination Certificate (WAEC) together with any other results, such as NECO. Mathematics and English credits are required.
  • Enlistment requires a NYSC discharge certificate or a letter of exemption from NYSC.
  • Male applicants must stand at least 1.68 meters tall, while female applicants must stand at least 1.65 meters tall.
  • Applicants must be between the ages of 22 and 28 on March 25, 2024. Except for Medical Officers, who cannot be older than 30 years.
  • Serving individuals, Soldiers/Ratings/Airmen, and other paramilitary service members must receive an attestation letter signed by the leaders of their units.
