Nigeria Police Training Date 2024: The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) Final List For Training 2024 is finally out. This is to notify all candidates who took part in the just concluded Nigeria Police Force (NPF) Recruitment and have their names shortlisted for the next phase of the recruitment exercise. All information for a successful NPF training has been discussed below.

All eligible candidates whose names were on the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) shortlist can now proceed to the official police portal https://www.policerecruitment.gov.ng/ to confirm where they fall in, for the training.

Please note that this NPF training is meant for candidates whose names were shortlisted, and the date has been announced by the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) recruitment organizers. Therefore, if you are among those selected, then this article is for you.

Nigeria Police Training Allowance

In this post, we shall explore the Nigeria Police Training Allowance. But before we get into that, let me clarify some things you should know regarding the NPF Training Allowance.

Nigeria Police Force is one of Nigeria’s paramilitary organizations. They are in charge of defending residents and upholding law and order in the country.

The Nigeria Police Force has a salary structure designed for them, including allowances. Read our earlier post on Nigerian Police Ranks, Salary, and Allowance. Aside from their salaries and allowances, police officers are also entitled to a training stipend.

The Nigeria Police training allowance for those who entered the police with an SSCE certificate ranges from N10,000 to N13,000. Graduates receive between N18,000 and N25,000.

Another thing to keep in mind is that once you complete the course, the Nigerian Police Force will instantly stop paying your training allowance and begin paying your regular salary.

Nigeria Police Training Duration

The Nigeria Police Force trains police officers for roughly 6 months, although graduates may have to train for up to 12 months before being commissioned into the Nigeria Police Force.

Those who attended the Nigerian Police Academy (Polac) train for up to five years before being commissioned into the Nigerian Police Force.

Nigeria Police Training Date 2024

A list of qualified applicants, dates, locations, and the official requirements for the 2024 Nigeria Police Force (NPF) Constables Recruitment Training has finally been made public by the police as seen via the official portal.

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has stated that as part of the NPF recruitment process for 10,000 Police Constables into the Nigeria Police Force, selected candidates’ training will start on Monday, July 25, 2022.

To ensure sufficient security measures in the 12 additional institutes chosen for the training exercise around the country, as well as the four premier police colleges in Lagos, Kaduna, Maiduguri, and Enugu, all commandants would work with their respective commissioners of police.

Nigeria Police Force Training Requirement

The selected Nigeria Police Force (NPF) colleges will host training for all shortlisted candidates whose names appear on the final list.

The Nigeria Police spokesman advised the applicants to arrive at the police colleges with the following items:

  • Two pairs of white round-necked T-shirts and shorts,
  • Two pairs of white athletic shoes and socks,
  • Two pairs of white sportswear,
  • Two sets of white bedsheets,
  • Two sets of white pillowcases,
  • A face mask, and
  • A hand sanitizer.
  • A small food flask with two flat plates,
  • A set of cutlery,
  • A bucket,
  • Toiletries,
  • A hoe,
  • A cutlass, and a broom for each person,
  • A hardback notebook,
  • An original copy of the national identification card or slip,
  • An original copy of each credential, and
  • Four copies of the white-background passport photo.
