British Army Recruitment 2024:  If you wish to join the British Army, there is a set of things you must do first, you must first complete a series of aptitude tests, these aptitude tests are designed to assess your cognitive abilities and how suitable you are for the role.

Application Requirements

For you to apply for the British Army Recruitment exercise, there are certain eligibility that must be met before you can proceed. We’ll look at some of these requirements so that you will be very prepared for the recruitment exercise.

  1. For you to be eligible, You must either be a British citizen, Irish citizen, or a Commonwealth citizen who has the right to live in the UK. If you are not a citizen of the mentioned above, you will not be eligible for recruitment.
  2. Some medical conditions could disqualify you from joining the Army, any of the medical conditions mentioned below will automatically disqualify you.
  3. You must undergo a full-service medical exam, and provide your medical history to ascertain if you are medically fit for the recruitment exercise.
  4. You must not have any of the following medical conditions:
    1. Asthma
    2. Diabetes
    3. Epilepsy
    4. Glandular fever (EPV)
    5. HIV
  1. You must be at least 18 Yrs old to be eligible for this recruitment exercise, if you are underage, you won’t be eligible.
  2. You must be in a higher education, either in a college of education or the University.

Application Process for British Army Recruitment

To complete your application, there are some processes you need to pass through. We’ll look at some of the application processes so that you will have an easy and seamless application process.

  1. The first step to applying is by visiting the official recruitment portal of the British Army
  2. Once you have landed on the website, you will have to fill out an online medical questionnaire.
  3. You will have an interview with a candidate support manager that will be provided to you by the British Army Support Team.
  4. The next step is to get your medical forms filled out by your GP and make sure you pay close attention to every detail.
  5. You will have to take the recruitment tests at the Army Development and Selection Centre (ADSC).
  6. There are a lot of group activities that go on during the process, you need to take part in group activities at the ADSC.
  7. You will be mandated to have a medical examination at the ADSC.
  8. After your medical examination, you will have an interview at the ADSC.
  9. After you complete other pre-entry checks, including a Security check, the Army will keep you informed on the next action
