  1. Potential applicants must be Kenyan citizens, if you are not a Kenyan citizen, you are not eligible for application.
  2. To prove that you are a Kenyan citizen, you must have a valid Kenyan national ID card
  3. You are expected to have a D+ or higher in the KCSE, with a D+ or higher in either English or Kiswahili to be eligible for application.
  4. The age range of applicants must be between 18 and 28 years old, any applicant who doesn’t fall into this age range should not bother applying.
  5. You must meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Kenyan Constitution to qualify for this recruitment exercise.
  6. You must show beyond reasonable doubt that you are physically, mentally, and medically fit to apply for recruitment.
  7. You must have no criminal record or pending criminal charges, you are expected to have a clean slate.
  8. Female applicants, must not be pregnant at the time of applying or training

Application Process for Kenya Police Recruitment.

If you want to apply for the Kenyan Police recruitment exercise, you have to follow this application process to have a seamless application.

  1. For a start, you will need to get the application form from a Sub-County Police Commander, a Sub-County Administration Police Commander, a County Commissioner, or a Huduma Centre.
  2. You can also get the form from any of the following websites: npsc.go.ke, www.kenyapolice.go.ke, www.mygov.go.ke, www.administration police.go.ke. or www.cid.go.ke.

The form must be submitted in duplicate. You’ll need the following documents:

  1. A copy of your KRA Pin Certificate.
  2. A copy of your Birth Certificate.
  3. A copy of your Kenyan National ID.
  4. Copies of your academic certificates and testimonials.

On the day of the recruitment exercise, you are expected to bring your completely filled-out application form.

Important: You need to be sure to bring the original copies of the supporting documents for verification. They will be returned to you before you leave the recruitment center.
