The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has released a statement regarding the ongoing recruitment exercise for both Narcotic Officer and Narcotic Assistant cadres positions. Therefore, interested applicants are advised to visit www.ndlea.gov.ng to successfully obtain, fill, and submit their application online.
The NDLEA has finally made a statement requesting all qualified applicants to successfully submit their applications in the superintendent cadre (Professional and General Duties) for its 2023 NDLEA recruitment exercise that access to their assessment platform will be available from 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 8th, until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10th, 2023.

NDLEA Recruitment 2023 Available Positions
The NDLEA recruitment roles are divided into three main cadres: Superintendent Cadre (General Duties & Specialist), Narcotic Agent Cadre, and Narcotic Assistant Cadre.
Meanwhile, each of these cadres is subdivided.
- Superintendent Cadre consists of
- Assistant Superintendent of Narcotics II CONPASS (08),
- Assistant Superintendent of Narcotics I (CONPASS 9), and
- Deputy Superintendent of Narcotics (CONPASS 10).
- Narcotic Agent cadre includes;
- Chief Narcotic Agent – CONPASS (07),
- Senior Narcotic Agent – CONPASS (06),
- Narcotic Agent – CONPASS (05)
- The Narcotic Assistant cadre has the following;
- Narcotic Assistant I – CONPASS (04),
- Narcotic Assistant II – CONPASS (03),
- Artisan, Mechanic, Driver, Cleaner / Gardener, etc.

Qualified candidates should go to the NDLEA website at www.ndlea.gov.ng, click on the careers link, and carefully read the instructions. Applicants must complete the application form and upload all the following documents:
- Passport Photograph.
- Educational Certificates.
- Certificate of State of Origin.
- Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age.
- National Identity Card.
- NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate.
Candidates applying for NDLEA positions must also have a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in relevant subjects. In addition, they must have at least 5 credits in WASSCE, NECO, or NABTEB, including Mathematics and English.

If your email address is correct, a confirmation email will be delivered to your inbox or spam folder; open the email and click the “complete registration” button.
If you are successful, your name will be added to the NDLEA shortlist, and you will be notified through your registered e-mail and scheduled for the next stage of the application process.
